TAMPA, Fla. — MaintenX International has provided commercial facilities with curb-to-roof services for more than 40 years, but many customers don't know that its Hutto TX Roofing services are backed by a state-of-the-art, in-house metal fabrication shop.

MaintenX is celebrating the third anniversary of its in-house roofing service offerings and the first anniversary of its expansion to include metal fabrication by encouraging facility managers to examine their roofing needs before the rainy season arrives.

The shop allows MaintenX to serve a wide range of job-specific needs, from unique individual pieces to thousands of linear feet of metal, and is ES-1 certified for coping caps, cleat, and fascia rail systems for single-ply and built-up roof systems. They also offer Pittsburg seamed items, soldering, light gauge to heavy gauge welding and pre-punched sheet metal products.

"We are committed to being our customers' convenient, one-stop source for their every roofing need," said MaintenX Vice President of Operations for Roofing Derrick Barwick. "Our metal shop ensures that we can perform any job, no matter the scale or specifications."

Especially for facility managers in MaintenX's home state of Florida, smart roofing decisions have a great impact on the overall safety and well-being of those inside. Ensuring proper maintenance and repairs on a roof helps keep temperatures comfortable, ensures that rain and debris stay outside, and protects employees and customers from dangers like mold and pests.

MaintenX's roofing division is certified by the world's largest commercial roofing manufacturers including Firestone, GAF, Versico, Carlisle, Sika Sarnafil, Johns Manville, Progressive Materials, Drexel as well as others. Maintenx installs TPO, EPDM, cold and torch-applied bitumen, restorative coatings, PVC, and metal. Their services range from fixing leaks to hurricane preparedness to entire roof replacement. The roofing division is also actively involved with the National Roofing Contractors Association and the Florida Roofing and Sheet Metal Contractors Association Inc.
